He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Vaxcyte, where he has played an important role in advancing next-generation vaccine programs designed to address significant unmet medical needs.
Before joining Vaxcyte, Wassil held senior leadership positions within vaccine organizations at Pfizer, Novartis, and Merck. During his career, he contributed to the development and commercialization of multiple vaccines intended to prevent infectious diseases.
His experience provides ILiAD with a strong understanding of the operational challenges involved in progressing vaccine candidates through clinical development. Most recently, Jhaveri served as a commercial advisor supporting the development of Cidara’s Phase 2 and Phase 3 influenza program before the company was acquired by Merck. Her experience in influenza and infectious disease development provides additional relevance to ILiAD’s focus on Bordetella pertussis.
Previously, Jhaveri held executive positions at Leyden Labs and VIR Biotechnology, where she worked on commercialization strategies involving innovative therapeutics and vaccines. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Genentech and Chiron/Novartis.

Before joining ILiAD, Blanc served as Chief Business and Commercial Officer at CureVac. He also held multiple global commercial leadership positions at GSK Vaccines and worked within McKinsey’s European biotechnology practice.
Throughout his career, Blanc has helped develop and execute growth strategies for both clinical-stage and commercial organizations. At ILiAD, he will oversee business development, commercial initiatives, strategic partnerships, and activities focused on long-term value creation.
