AIVITA Biomedical, Inc., a biotech firm focused on pioneering stem cell applications, has announced a licensing agreement with LevEllis, a global skincare retailer. This partnership grants LevEllis the exclusive worldwide marketing and distribution rights to AIVITA’s proprietary skincare formulations, previously marketed as Root of Skin™. These products have demonstrated impressive market testing results among licensed clinical dermatologists and have achieved record consecutive sell-outs on QVC Japan.
As part of the agreement, LevEllis will have the exclusive rights to market and distribute AIVITA’s skincare formulations globally. In return, AIVITA will receive upfront payments, milestone payments, and ongoing royalties. AIVITA will continue to manufacture and supply the active ingredient from its cGMP-certified manufacturing facilities.
“We are excited to partner with such a prestigious aesthetics retail team to introduce these products to the global market,” stated Dr. Hans Keirstead, CEO of AIVITA. “LevEllis possesses the deep domain expertise required to effectively convey the real science and clinical rigor behind our offerings.”
LevEllis will relaunch the formulations under the new brand name Provoque™, created by Dr. Laura Ellis, a cosmetic surgeon and recognized expert in rejuvenating skincare. Her team at LevEllis includes seasoned cosmetics industry professionals who have successfully launched major products.
“I am thrilled to introduce these groundbreaking products to skincare consumers worldwide,” said Dr. Laura Ellis, Founder and CEO of LevEllis. “They feature a truly unique actives complex supported by substantial data, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm of everyday users who have become lifelong supporters.”
The innovative active ingredients in AIVITA’s skincare formulations are derived from techniques and expertise originally developed for the company’s regenerative therapies, which have been validated in FDA-regulated clinical trials. AIVITA’s proprietary methods in high-purity cell culturing enable the capture of all factors produced by young skin stem cells in their natural relative concentrations, resulting in products designed to restore what aging skin loses over time.
