CarePlus Unveils 2025 Medicare Advantage Plan Options

As CarePlus celebrates its 25th anniversary, the Florida-based Medicare Advantage provider is enhancing its plans for 2025, focusing on affordable healthcare and financial wellness. The new offerings aim to improve health outcomes across the state, featuring robust subsidies, $0 copays, and additional financial benefits.

“Our priority is to deliver affordable healthcare solutions that meet our members’ needs,” said Steven Ruiz, president of CarePlus Health Plans. “As we reach this milestone of serving Florida’s Medicare-eligible population for 25 years, we’re excited about the positive impact our 2025 plan options will have on members’ well-being.”

New Plan Features for 2025:

  • Expanded Coverage: The CareAccess (HMO) plan, previously available only in Orlando and Daytona, will now be offered in all service areas. This plan allows members to see in-network specialists without a referral.
  • Financial Relief: Over 65% of CarePlus plans will include a Part B premium reduction, lowering out-of-pocket costs for Medicare Part B.
  • $0 Premium: All CarePlus Medicare Advantage plans will have a $0 premium in 2025.
  • Roll-Over Benefits: On select plans, unused CareEssentials Allowance funds will roll over each month, offering flexibility for purchases like groceries, utilities, and rent.
  • Chronic Condition Coverage: The new CareComplete (HMO C-SNP) plan targets individuals with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or congestive heart failure, providing a $215 monthly subsidy.
  • Enhanced Dual-Eligibility Support: The CareNeeds Platinum (HMO D-SNP) plan will include an over-the-counter drug allowance, usable at participating retailers or through mail-order with CenterWell Pharmacy.

Ongoing Benefits Across Most Plans:

  • Comprehensive Dental: $0 copays for dentures, extractions, and fillings, with access to a network of over 100,000 dentists.
  • Vision and Hearing: Coverage for eyewear and hearing aids.
  • Medical Services: $0 copays for primary care, podiatry, acupuncture, and chiropractic visits, plus meal delivery after hospital stays.
  • Affordable Prescriptions: $0 copay for Tier 1 drugs and a $2,000 out-of-pocket maximum for prescription drug costs.
  • Wellness Programs: Access to SilverSneakers® fitness, free transportation to select locations, and gift cards as rewards for completing healthy activities.
