Dr. Roland Wandeler assumes the role of President for the Biopharma Business Unit, while Camille Alpi steps into the position of Chief Human Resources and Talent Officer.
Dr. Wandeler brings over twenty years of global biopharmaceutical expertise to Grifols, showcasing a successful history of driving commercial, operational, and organizational excellence in both European and American contexts. His prior roles include Chief Commercial Officer at MorphoSys and a 14-year tenure at Amgen, where he held executive positions, ultimately becoming Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Bone Health and Cardiology in the U.S. Dr. Wandeler, a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, is based in Grifols’ corporate offices in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park.
Mr. Alpi, an international HR executive with two decades of experience across various continents, served as Vice President of Human Resources for Danone Specialized Nutrition before joining Grifols. His expertise encompasses talent and organizational development, employee experience, engagement, as well as transformation and change management. With a master’s degree in business and economics from Uppsala University, Sweden, Mr. Alpi is located at Grifols’ global headquarters in Sant Cugat (Barcelona).
Both Dr. Wandeler and Mr. Alpi report to Víctor Grifols Deu, Chief Operating Officer, and their appointments mark a significant addition to Grifols’ efforts in building a world-class executive team.
