Introducing Allē Payment Plans, Powered by Cherry

Allergan Aesthetics, a division of AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV), has launched Allē Payment Plans, powered by Cherry, to offer consumers the ability to pay for aesthetic treatments and products, including BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) and the JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers, over time. This initiative aims to make aesthetic treatments more accessible and affordable.

According to market research, over 50 million Americans are interested in facial injectables, but cost remains a significant barrier for many. With Allē Payment Plans, patients can now opt for monthly payment plans, making it easier to achieve their aesthetic goals.

“We are excited to introduce flexible payment plans within Allē at no cost* to aesthetic practices for Allergan Aesthetics treatments and products. This will increase the accessibility and affordability of aesthetic treatments for patients while supporting providers in welcoming new patients,” said Jasson Gilmore, Senior Vice President, U.S. Aesthetics. “Pay-over-time solutions have become a preferred method of payment for many Americans, and Allē Payment Plans will help patients pursue the recommended treatments on terms that work for them.”

The initial pilot program for Allē Payment Plans revealed that 54% of transactions were from patients new to aesthetics or trying a new service, and 34% included two or more brands. This indicates a strong interest in pay-over-time options for aesthetic treatments.

The nationwide roll-out of Allē Payment Plans begins today, with full availability expected in the coming months. “Our practice participated in the pilot program and saw an influx of patients interested in pay-over-time options, leading to increased interest in additional treatments,” said Neekan Rivera, PA, Allergan Medical Institute Trainer and founder of Aère Aesthetics. “Allē Payment Plans have seamlessly integrated into our front desk operations, and patients earn Allē points for their treatments.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Allergan Aesthetics, a market leader with industry-defining products and the successful Allē loyalty rewards platform,” said Sean Schroeder, COO at Cherry. “This partnership will support practices in making aesthetic treatments more accessible.”

Allē will provide an inside look at Allē Payment Plans to providers attending The Aesthetic Show (TAS) in Las Vegas from June 27-30, 2024. Attendees can join a sponsored Lunch and Learn and schedule personalized discussions with an Allergan Digital Consultant to optimize Allē for Business and prepare for Allē Payment Plans.

Allē, serving over seven million members across approximately 30,000 practices, aims to educate consumers about aesthetic treatments and simplify office operations for practices. Allē offers the most comprehensive rewards program in the aesthetics market, allowing members to earn points on over 50 non-Allergan Aesthetics treatments and brands. With the introduction of flexible payment options, Allē continues to empower consumers on their aesthetic treatment journey.

BOTOX® Cosmetic Important Safety Information and Approved Uses:

Approved Uses: BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine injected into muscles to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults.

Important Safety Information: BOTOX® Cosmetic may cause serious side effects that can be life-threatening. Seek medical help immediately if you experience problems swallowing, speaking, or breathing, as these can be severe and result in loss of life. These issues may be pre-existing before injection and may last several months.

The effect of botulinum toxin may spread from the injection site, causing serious symptoms such as muscle weakness, double vision, blurred vision, drooping eyelids, hoarseness, loss of voice, trouble speaking, loss of bladder control, trouble breathing, and trouble swallowing.

BOTOX® Cosmetic dosing units are not comparable to any other botulinum toxin product. No confirmed serious cases of toxin spread have been reported when BOTOX® Cosmetic has been used at the recommended dose to treat frown lines, crow’s feet lines, and forehead lines.

If you experience muscle weakness, vision problems, or dizziness within hours to weeks of receiving BOTOX® Cosmetic, avoid driving or operating machinery. Serious allergic reactions have been reported, including itching, rash, red itchy welts, wheezing, asthma symptoms, or dizziness. Seek medical help immediately if you experience these symptoms.

Do not receive BOTOX® Cosmetic if you are allergic to any ingredients in BOTOX® Cosmetic, have had an allergic reaction to other botulinum toxin products, or have a skin infection at the planned injection site. Inform your doctor about all muscle or nerve conditions, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects.

Discuss all medical conditions, surgeries, and medications with your doctor before receiving BOTOX® Cosmetic. Avoid starting new medications until your doctor is aware of your BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment.

Possible side effects include dry mouth, injection site discomfort or pain, tiredness, headache, neck pain, double vision, blurred vision, decreased eyesight, drooping eyelids and eyebrows, eyelid swelling, and dry eyes.
