Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, along with Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Harrow, Inc. CEO Mark L. Baum, announced today that Harrow is expanding its corporate headquarters in Nashville.
Originally founded in San Diego, California, in 2012, Harrow relocated its headquarters to Nashville in 2019. Since then, the company has continuously invested in the city, including building a state-of-the-art analytical chemistry lab, expanding its sales and marketing teams, and hiring for key business functions. Recently, Harrow increased its leased office space in Nashville to approximately 30,000 square feet.
“Tennessee is leading the nation with one of the fastest-growing economies thanks to companies like Harrow that have chosen to relocate and expand here. I look forward to the impact these nearly 150 new jobs will have on Nashville’s workforce and congratulate Harrow on this success,” said Gov. Bill Lee.
“Harrow’s expansion in Nashville highlights the city’s favorable business environment, low taxes, and strategic location. Nashville is on its way to becoming the U.S. healthcare hub, and Harrow’s continued investment is a significant step toward that goal,” added TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.
Mark L. Baum, CEO of Harrow, remarked, “Relocating to Nashville was a fantastic choice for our company. The city’s prime location, favorable tax policies, and entrepreneurial spirit make it an ideal environment for business. With its thriving community, affordable housing, and world-class amenities, Nashville is the perfect place to attract top talent. Harrow’s expansion here not only enhances our service to eyecare professionals across North America but also reflects our commitment to the community we are proud to call home. The future is bright for both Harrow and Nashville.”
John Bradley, Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), said, “We’re excited to celebrate Harrow’s continued growth in Nashville. This expansion showcases the region’s strong business climate, and we look forward to supporting Harrow’s ongoing success.”
State Senator Heidi Campbell (D-Nashville) also welcomed Harrow’s growth, stating, “Harrow’s investment in District 20 is creating high-quality jobs and expanding Tennessee’s healthcare science sector. This growth reflects the efforts of state and local leaders, as well as our universities, to prepare the workforce needed for such critical investments.
