SkinSpirit and Allergan Aesthetics Team Up to Empower Girls Inc. and Women in STEM

In its sixth year of collaboration with Girls Inc., Allergan Aesthetics, a subsidiary of AbbVie, is pleased to welcome SkinSpirit, a leading provider of medical aesthetics and skincare, to its initiative aimed at empowering girls to be strong, smart, and bold while exploring careers in STEM.

As part of this partnership, SkinSpirit will launch the campaign with a $5,000 donation from SkinSpirit Gives, the company’s charitable arm. Additionally, from November 1 to November 15, SkinSpirit will encourage its clients to contribute, with 100% of the funds raised going directly to Girls Inc. This support will enhance STEM programming, mentorship, and career exploration opportunities for over 114,000 girls across 350 cities and 75 affiliates nationwide.

“We are excited to have SkinSpirit join us in our mission to support Girls Inc.,” said Carrie Strom, President of Global Allergan Aesthetics and Senior Vice President of AbbVie. “Girls Inc. plays a crucial role in our philanthropic initiatives to empower girls in STEM, and SkinSpirit is a fantastic partner and advocate for the next generation of women leaders.”

A Legacy of Leadership in STEM

“At SkinSpirit, we recognize the significance of innovation and the need to cultivate the next generation of women leaders in STEM,” said Lynn Heublein, Co-Founder and CEO of SkinSpirit. “Having had a fulfilling career in tech and engineering before transitioning to aesthetics, I understand how providing women with opportunities in technology can transform lives. I am excited to support Girls Inc. in equipping young women with the tools they need to excel in STEM. By involving our clients in this initiative, we’re not just raising funds; we’re raising awareness and fostering a future where more women can thrive in these essential fields.”

The initiative will be promoted through social media campaigns, in-clinic signage featuring QR codes, and media coverage showcasing Lynn’s transition from engineering and tech to CEO.

All funds generated during this campaign will directly benefit the STEM programs offered by Girls Inc., helping young women develop the skills, confidence, and leadership qualities essential for pursuing careers in these fields.
