Valor Compounding Pharmacy Invites New Partnerships with Medical Practices and Hospital Systems
Valor Compounding Pharmacy, a prominent provider of compounded medications, is excited to announce its initiative to form new partnerships with medical practices and health systems. This effort aims to enhance patient care through personalized compounded prescriptions. Valor is inviting healthcare providers—including medical practices, health systems, retail pharmacies, telehealth organizations, self-insured companies, private medical groups, and even public institutions—to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) to explore potential collaborations.
Valor is specifically seeking organizations that have the capacity to prescribe a minimum of 1,000 compounded non-sterile prescriptions per month. These prescriptions can be either hazardous or non-hazardous and must be patient-specific. Additionally, providers must be licensed in the states where their patients reside, which Valor currently serves, with the possibility of expanding into additional states based on volume needs. While organizations should provide specific formulations to be compounded, Valor will offer consultation as necessary.
It’s important to note that all partnerships must adhere to regulations governing both the practice of medicine and pharmacy. This includes compliance with state, federal, and board regulations, as well as USP guidelines. Furthermore, pricing for patient-specific prescriptions cannot be altered by any provider or organization, and all patients must receive a receipt from Valor detailing the price of their medication, regardless of payment method.

RFP Opportunity and Process
Valor Compounding Pharmacy seeks partners who prioritize patient safety, high-quality care, and innovative medication management solutions. Interested organizations can submit proposals to participate in a strategic alliance aimed at enhancing personalized medicine and streamlining medication processes. The process begins with a kick-off and discovery meeting to establish a timeline and plan, confirm formularies, unit pricing, shipping needs, and payment terms. Once a contract is finalized, physicians from the selected organization can start prescribing through ePrescribe, phone, or fax.
