Global healthcare company Viatris has been named to Forbes’ World’s Top Companies for Women 2024 list, an honor awarded in collaboration with Statista, a leading statistics and industry ranking provider.
“At Viatris, diverse perspectives fuel innovation and our mission to help people lead healthier lives at every stage,” said Andrew Enrietti, Chief People Officer at Viatris. “Being included on Forbes’ list of World’s Top Companies for Women 2024 reflects our commitment to supporting our people and fostering diverse talent. This recognition speaks to our ongoing efforts to develop and empower female talent and cultivate an inclusive workplace at Viatris.”
The World’s Top Companies for Women 2024 were selected from multinational companies through comprehensive global surveys involving approximately 100,000 women across 37 countries, collecting over 750,000 data points. The analysis was based on:
- Employer Brand Score: Women rated their employer on gender-related topics and indicated their likelihood to recommend the company, as well as evaluate others in the industry.
- Public Opinion Score: A survey measured women’s views on companies in terms of gender equality.
- Leadership Score: Objective factors, such as female CEO representation and the proportion of women in executive roles, were evaluated.
“Viatris is dedicated to ensuring that women have a seat at the table for critical decisions, including those affecting women’s access to quality healthcare,” noted Lara Ramsburg, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Executive Sponsor of Viatris’ EmpoWer, a women’s Employee Resource Group. “This recognition highlights the collective impact of EmpoWer’s growing membership and our ecosystem that supports women’s growth and potential.”
This recognition follows Viatris’ inclusion in Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2024, TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2024, and USA Today’s America’s Climate Leaders 2024 lists. The company has also received Great Place to Work® and Top Employers certifications in several countries.
