Vyome Holdings Appoints Jerry Leonard as Chief Financial Officer to Strengthen Financial Operations and Support Pipeline Development
Vyome Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: HIND), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing differentiated therapies for immuno-inflammatory and rare disease conditions, has appointed experienced financial executive Jerry Leonard, CPA, MBA, as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Leonard assumed the position effective September 1, 2026, and will oversee Vyome’s financial operations, reporting and accounting functions, internal controls and corporate governance activities. His appointment comes as the company continues to advance its clinical-stage development pipeline and strengthen the organizational infrastructure needed to support its long-term strategic objectives.
Leonard succeeds Robert Dickey, IV, who served as Vyome’s Interim Chief Financial Officer beginning in August 2025. The transition marks a move toward permanent financial leadership as Vyome continues developing its portfolio of therapies focused on areas of significant unmet medical need.
In his new role, Leonard will be responsible for managing the company’s financial organization and helping ensure that its reporting, accounting and internal control processes remain aligned with the requirements of a growing public biopharmaceutical company. His responsibilities will also extend to financial governance and supporting the company’s broader operational and strategic priorities.
Experienced Financial Leadership
Leonard brings more than 25 years of experience spanning financial management, business operations, corporate strategy and organizational leadership. His career includes senior financial positions at emerging public companies as well as major global organizations, providing him with experience across different stages of corporate development.
Prior to joining Vyome, Leonard was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of ClearBridgeCFO, a financial leadership and transformation firm. Through his work with organizations requiring financial and operational expertise, he has developed experience in areas including financial management, transformation, reporting and strategic execution.
Leonard previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of VSee Health following the company’s 2024 business combination. Before that appointment, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at iDoc Virtual Telehealth Solutions and VSee Lab.
His experience with healthcare and emerging companies provides a particularly relevant background for Vyome, which is operating at the intersection of biotechnology, clinical development and public-market requirements.
Earlier in his career, Leonard spent more than a decade as Vice President of Finance within the asset management business of Voya Financial. He also held finance leadership positions at IBM and Colgate-Palmolive, gaining exposure to large-scale financial organizations and complex business operations.
He began his professional career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers. This early experience established a foundation in accounting, financial reporting and audit-related disciplines that has continued throughout his career.
Leonard is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Supporting Vyome’s Next Stage of Growth
Vyome said Leonard’s combination of public-company financial leadership, operational discipline and experience with financial reporting and corporate governance will be important as the company continues to expand its organization and advance its development programs.
Venkat Nelabhotla, Chief Executive Officer of Vyome Holdings, said Leonard’s background is particularly relevant to the company’s current stage of development.
“Jerry brings a strong combination of public company financial leadership, operating discipline and experience in reporting, financial operations, and governance that we believe is particularly relevant to Vyome as we continue to build our organization,” Nelabhotla said.
According to Nelabhotla, Leonard’s experience across both emerging public companies and large global organizations is expected to help Vyome strengthen its financial processes and controls while maintaining disciplined execution.
The CFO appointment comes at a critical point for clinical-stage biopharmaceutical companies, where financial management is closely connected to research and development activities, regulatory milestones, clinical programs and long-term capital planning.
For companies advancing drug candidates through development, maintaining strong financial controls and transparent reporting is essential. Clinical development can require substantial investment over extended periods, making financial planning and resource allocation important components of corporate strategy.
Leonard’s experience is expected to help Vyome manage these requirements while supporting the company’s efforts to advance its pipeline.
Focus on Financial Operations and Governance
As CFO, Leonard will oversee several core functions that are central to Vyome’s operations as a Nasdaq-listed company.
These responsibilities include financial reporting, accounting, internal controls and corporate governance. Strengthening these areas can help provide the infrastructure necessary to support the company as its development programs progress and its organizational needs evolve.
Financial reporting is particularly important for publicly traded biotechnology companies because investors, regulators and other stakeholders rely on timely and accurate information about a company’s financial position and operations.
Internal controls are similarly important as organizations expand. Robust controls can support accurate financial reporting, improve operational accountability and help companies manage financial risks.
Corporate governance also plays an important role as companies move through different stages of development. Vyome’s decision to appoint a permanent CFO with extensive experience in public-company environments reflects the company’s emphasis on maintaining an appropriate financial and governance structure as it grows.
Background Across Healthcare and Global Companies
Leonard’s professional background combines experience in healthcare-focused organizations with finance leadership at large multinational businesses.
His tenure at VSee Health followed the company’s 2024 business combination, giving him experience in a public-company environment during a period of corporate transition. His previous roles at iDoc Virtual Telehealth Solutions and VSee Lab further expanded his exposure to healthcare technology and virtual care businesses.
His more than decade-long tenure with Voya Financial provided additional experience in financial leadership within asset management. Meanwhile, his positions at IBM and Colgate-Palmolive exposed him to the financial and operational requirements of large global corporations.
This combination of experiences gives Leonard a broad perspective on financial management, ranging from public accounting and corporate finance to emerging healthcare businesses and established multinational organizations.
For Vyome, that background could be useful as the company balances the specialized financial requirements of a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with the governance and reporting expectations of a publicly traded organization.
Leonard Outlines Priorities in New Role
Commenting on his appointment, Leonard said he was looking forward to working with Vyome’s executive leadership, Board of Directors and broader organization.
“Vyome has built a disciplined financial foundation as it continues to advance its development pipeline,” Leonard said.
He added that his priorities will include further strengthening the company’s financial operations, reporting, internal controls and governance while supporting the organization as it grows.
Leonard’s comments reflect a focus on maintaining and improving the financial infrastructure already established by the company. His role will involve working across the organization to ensure financial functions support Vyome’s broader strategic priorities.
The appointment also provides continuity following Dickey’s period as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Vyome recognized Dickey’s contribution by transitioning from interim leadership to a permanent CFO structure with Leonard’s appointment.
Importance of Financial Infrastructure for Biopharmaceutical Development
For a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company such as Vyome, financial leadership extends beyond traditional accounting responsibilities. The CFO can play a central role in planning for research and development spending, managing corporate resources, supporting investor and stakeholder reporting, and ensuring that financial controls evolve alongside the organization.
As clinical programs advance, companies may face increasingly complex financial and operational requirements. These can include planning around clinical development expenses, regulatory activities, manufacturing needs, corporate infrastructure and potential financing strategies.
A CFO with experience across emerging public companies and larger organizations can therefore provide both technical financial expertise and strategic perspective.
Vyome’s appointment of Leonard indicates that the company is seeking to reinforce these capabilities as it continues to develop its pipeline of immuno-inflammatory and rare disease therapies.
Leonard’s appointment as Chief Financial Officer represents another organizational step for Vyome Holdings as the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company works to advance its development programs and strengthen its corporate infrastructure.
Effective September 1, 2026, Leonard assumes responsibility for the company’s financial operations, reporting, accounting, internal controls and related governance functions. His more than two decades of financial and business leadership experience includes senior positions at VSee Health, iDoc Virtual Telehealth Solutions, VSee Lab and Voya Financial, along with earlier finance roles at IBM and Colgate-Palmolive.
His background in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, combined with his CPA designation and MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, provides additional expertise in financial reporting and corporate management.
For Vyome, the new CFO arrives as the company continues to build its organization around its clinical-stage pipeline. The company expects Leonard’s experience in public-company finance, financial controls, reporting and governance to help support disciplined execution and sustainable organizational growth.
As Vyome advances its immuno-inflammatory and rare disease programs, effective financial management will remain an important component of its broader strategy. Leonard’s appointment is intended to provide experienced financial leadership while helping the company maintain strong reporting and governance practices and prepare its financial operations for the next stages of development.
