The Yearbook celebrates companies across diverse industries that have showcased exemplary corporate sustainability practices, evaluated through the rigorous S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Out of over 9,400 evaluated entities in the 2023 CSA, only 759 top-performing companies earned a spot in the 2024 Yearbook. WuXi Biologics distinguished itself by attaining a Top 1% S&P Global CSA Score.
In 2023, WuXi Biologics achieved a remarkable 29% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity from its 2020 baseline. Moreover, the company surpassed its water consumption intensity reduction target ahead of schedule, upgrading its objective from an initial 18% to an ambitious 30% reduction by 2025 compared to the 2019 baseline. Committed to fostering Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), WuXi Biologics boasts 47% female representation in managerial roles and sees 53% of STEM positions held by female employees.
